Workgroup
Research and Surveillance
Workgroup members focus on developing a consortium of emerging and established academic-based tobacco control research programs to promote innovations in tobacco education programs, treatments, and policies.
This consortium is comprised of researchers at academic institutions across the state as well as additional stakeholders and professionals working in tobacco control. This group collaborates to share ongoing and emergent research, monitor retail markets and media channels to identify new tobacco products, and surveillance industry marketing strategies targeting priority populations.
